How the static WeeklyBroker site handles search, comparison selections, external links, provider logos, and email inquiries.
A lean, static website
WeeklyBroker has no login, account database, newsletter signup, contact-form backend, or checkout. This version does not add advertising pixels or analytics tracking scripts. We do not request personal financial information.
The hosting provider may process standard request information, such as IP addresses, browser details, requested URLs, and timestamps, to deliver and secure the website. The host’s practices and policies apply to that infrastructure.
Search and comparison
Search uses Pagefind, a static index downloaded and searched in your browser. We do not send your search text to a dedicated search backend or store it in a site database. Search text may appear in the page URL and therefore in standard hosting logs when you open that URL.
Comparison selections may appear in a shareable URL. They are not stored in a user account or site database. This version does not use a cookie banner because it does not set advertising or analytics cookies of its own.
External websites and logos
Provider favicon images are requested from official provider URLs. Loading an external image may share technical request information with that provider; referrer information is suppressed where supported. If an icon cannot load, the site shows a text initial.
When you follow an external or affiliate link, the destination’s privacy policy applies. Third parties may use cookies or tracking technology on their own websites. We do not control their data practices.
Email inquiries
If you email [email protected], the contents and email address are processed through the receiving email service to handle your inquiry. Do not include passwords, financial account numbers, or other sensitive information.
You can contact [email protected] with privacy questions or a request concerning information you sent by email. This policy should be reviewed and updated if the site adds analytics, forms, subscriptions, or other services. Effective November 5, 2026.
